Once you request traffic school and pay the court's fee, San Diego Superior Court grants a one-time 90-day continuance to finish your course. That clock starts when the continuance is granted, not when your citation was issued — check your paperwork or the Pay Your Ticket portal for your exact date.
There is no automatic extension beyond the 90-day continuance. If you need more time or the fee is a hardship, contact the court about its payment-plan options or submit an ability-to-pay request through MyCitations. Approval is up to the court, so reach out before your deadline passes.

Send a check or money order with a copy of your citation to the business office for your division (addresses below). Allow enough time for delivery — don't mail it the day before your deadline.
